We moved here in 1979.. It was the best place ever at the time still lots of heath-land left...This village has been built in such a way it still has the feel of the countryside well planned..as more people moved to the village so as it grew and it has a great community spirit we feel like one big family, Just now we have moved away ...But we will be back...Martlesham Heath has three Churches in the Benefice..all with different things to offer..There are also shops. Gift and Card Shop.. Doctors.. Baker and Butchers ..News agent and general store Fish and Chip shop The Douglas Bader Public House Guides Scouts...Church Hall where there is chance to do many activitys And Of CourseThe Runway Coffee Shop..Super Homemade Cakes.great tea and Coffee
