I called JT Wilding after accidentally drilling through a pipe the previous evening. They managed to send an engineer that morning to fix the pipe (in a very awkward position). Friendly plumber and reasonable price that got me out of a pickle.
Have used Wildings to service our heating system for some years and generally been happy with them. But we've had increasing, intermittent problems with our heating system over the last few weeks, and we've now got to the point where we only have heating for about 1 hour a day. Wildings have known about this for a week but still haven't sent anyone out despite promising to do so. The story from their receptionist this morning was that she needed to talk to the technical director. Why?? Awful. Will not be using them again.
I hate to bad mouth local businesses but Wildings fitted our water cylinder a couple of years ago. From the day it was installed there was air in the system. They then charged us to come and look at it and there is still air in the system and the pressure drops.
it says 24 hours . i phoned at 8:15 in the morning for a job . it is the bringing gas pipe from the main to the inside for a new cooker . Lady on the phone we dont do that ? . this is something i can do if i was gas safe registered .
I recently needed some work doing and thought i would get them to quote for the work they quoted me double what it ended up costing me to have done. I rang them at the time to ask what was going on with there price and they said they would reduce it by about thirty pounds. stay away, use small firms that do good work and care about their customers.
